Chuck Lofton on a railbike preps for Friday broadcast

Nickel Plate Heritage Railroad recently welcomed veteran meteorologist Chuck Lofton to come ride the Nickel Plate Express (NPX) Railbikes, and it looks like everyone had a great time. Lofton, who first joined WTHR Channel 13 in 1985, announced his retirement in January. He will broadcast live Friday morning from Noble Coffee and Tea, 933 Logan St., Noblesville.
