Pebble Brook Golf Club, 3110 Westfield Road, Noblesville, will soon begin significant upgrades and renovations to its facilities in celebration of 50 years of ownership by the Palmer Family.
Upgrades will include new cart paths, a renovated kitchen and dining area within the Pebble Brook Grill restaurant, new irrigation systems, and state-of-the-art golf simulators. A groundbreaking ceremony will occur outside the course’s clubhouse at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, followed by refreshments.
John Nichols, executive chairman of the Palmer Group overseeing Pebble Brook Golf Club, said, “Mr. Eldon Palmer loved the game of golf and would be proud to see both the progress of Pebble Brook Golf Club and the game of golf as a whole.”
Mr. Palmer purchased the course in the 1970s, then one 18-hole course surrounded by farm fields.
Today, the golf club has two 18-hole courses, a clubhouse, and an outdoor pavilion. Pebble Brook Golf Club hosts several tournaments and outings throughout the year, in addition to charity events, golf lessons and local high school golf teams.
“We emphasize a family-friendly atmosphere as a family-owned-and-operated course, so it’s greatly encouraging to see the next generation of golfers grow and develop at Pebble Brook,” Nichols said.
Throughout the years, the number of women’s events and programs has also increased.
“We’ve seen more women enjoy the sport and our facilities, which is terrific and reinforces our belief that Pebble Brook Golf Club is for everyone,” Nichols said.
