Several years ago, I became acquainted with Christina (Chris) Miller through her involvement in various nonprofit organizations in our community. We have worked together on projects for Cicero Kiwanis, Hope Family Care Center, Republican Women, Hamilton North Friends of the Library, food rescue and we have also given several dinners for cancer patients and nonprofit organizations in our area.
Chris was one of the co-founders of the Hamilton County Federated Women’s RIGHT NOW program. This program has brought thousands of dollars of items not covered under food stamps to Hamilton County food pantries and Trustees offices and raised awareness of the items not covered under food stamps for the needy. Chris was awarded the Hamilton County Federated Republican Women of the Year in 2017. Chris is also the Republican Vice Committeeman in South Cicero.
When Chris became Jackson Township’s Trustee seven years ago I watched as she began immediately making improvements to the buildings, training, staff and the equipment in Jackson Township.
I ask for your support to keep this public servant is office, but more importantly, the Jackson Professional Fire Fighters and the Hamilton County Professional Fire Fighters Local 4416 both endorse Chris Miller. Personal endorsements are a wonderful attribute to a candidate, but when First Responders and their professional organizations endorse a candidate, the public needs to take notice. These are the people who put their lives on the line every day for our safety. Before a candidate is endorsed they take many factors into consideration such as experience, performance, commitment to safety and dedication to functional equipment and training.
I believe in community involvement. Chris Miller has worked diligently as Trustee the last seven years. Her passion for the community, the poor and the First Responders are the reason she should continue serving as Trustee of Jackson Township.
