Patricia “Pat” Denise Cranmore, 70, Kokomo, formerly of Connersville, passed away Saturday afternoon, October 22, 2022, at Community Howard Hospital in Kokomo.
She was born November 11, 1951, in Connersville, the youngest of two children of Paul Francis and Bertie Lou Wright Potts. Pat was raised in the Laurel area and was a 1969 graduate of Laurel High School.
She graduated from Indiana University School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in nursing.
For several years, she was employed by IU Medical Center as a nurse in the BMT Department.
On November 8, 1980, she married Monty H. Cranmore in the Grandview Church of Christ, officiated by Pete Taylor. In 2000, they moved to Noblesville and lived there until moving to Kokomo one year ago.
Pat was a member of Laurel Church of Christ, the Glenwood Church of Christ, and the Order of the Eastern Star.
In her leisure, she enjoyed crafts, sewing, and crocheting. She was also an avid photographer and loved listening to gospel music.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Monty H. Cranmore of Kokomo; four children, William Nicols of Rio Rancho, N.M., Amanda (Josh) Randall of Westfield, Sarah (Aurelio) Ocampo-Cranmore of Noblesville, and Zachary (Melissa) Cranmore of Freetown, Ind.; nine grandchildren, Ashley and Grifen Deckard, both of Westfield, Spencer, A.J. “Z”, and Braulio Ocampo-Cranmore, all of Noblesville, and Haley, Paisley, Noah, and Madison Cranmore, all of Freetown, Ind.; two nephews, Jeremy (Missy) Potts and Lowell Fox, both of Connersville; and a niece, Cheryl (Carl) Towler of Connersville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Potts.
Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Rick Huffman and Ken Rushton officiating. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
