Patricia Michael, Sheridan, went to be with the Lord on Sunday evening, July 15, 2018. She was the youngest of six children born to Orval and Margaret (Pickard) Birden.
Patty graduated from Sugar Creek High School in 1954 and was married to Allan Michael on June 6, 1954 at the Terhune E.V.B. Church. They lived in the Sheridan area all their lives.
She enjoyed reading, sewing, camping and playing the piano, but her greatest love was her family.
She was a member of the Sheridan Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed Bible studies and taught Sunday School.
She is survived by her two sons, Steven Michael (Annette), Sheridan, and Jeffrey Michael (Donna), Frankfort; four grandchildren, Steven Michael, Jr. (Cheyanne), Jeffrey A. Michael, Christina Koehler (David) and Elizabeth Olovich (Richard); three great grandchildren, Sophia Olovich, McKenna Koehler and Layla Koehler; one brother, Robert Birden (Blossom); and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Brian Scott Michael; one brother, Richard Birden; and three sisters, Zelma Bradley, Irene Bragg and Mary Robinson.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Kercheval Funeral Home, 306 E. 10th St., Sheridan. Burial will follow at Hills Cemetery in rural Clinton County. Rev. Rick Birden will be officiating. Visitation will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday evening, July 19, 2018 at Kercheval Funeral Home.
