Patricia Ann Paskins, 96, Noblesville, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, surrounded by her family at Riverview Health in Noblesville. She was born on April 9, 1928, to Arza and Orpha (Garverick) Guilkey in Noblesville.
Patty worked for the Hamilton County ASCS Office in Noblesville, after retirement worked for Noblesville Schools as a bus aide for 20 more years, and volunteered at Riverview Hospital. She was a member of First Friends Church in Noblesville, the Home Economics Club, Card Club, Senior Citizens Organization, and the Noblesville Alumni Association. Patty enjoyed cooking, sewing, going to auctions, and attending festivals. Patty, Linda, Linda B, and Connie shopped the 127-mile garage sale. Patty participated in the Hamilton County 4-H Fair, where she received several blue and grand champion ribbons for her sewing projects, baked items, homemade jellies, and fudge. She would take Bridget, Bryce, and Brayden to Shipshewana every summer during their summer break. Patty enjoyed Tuesday Dinners at Jim Dandy and her lunches with the Golden Girls. She was blessed to live in her own home, be independent, and occasionally drive to pick up Ruthie and go for ice cream. Most of all Patty loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Renner; grandchildren, Bridget (Brandon) McKinney, Tony (Bethany) Renner, and Brad Renner; great-grandchildren, Bryce Gibson, Jackson Renner, Brayden McKinney, Jake Renner, Aden Purkey, Lillie Grace Purkey, and Eli Purkey; great-great-grandchildren, Bentley Gibson, Samantha Renner, Beaumont McKinney, and Josephine McKinney; sisters, Harriet Wise and Barbara (Richard) Lawson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Paskins; son, Steven Richard Paskins; grandson, Chris Sheller; son-in-law, Steve Renner; brothers, Carrol, Roland, Dallas, and Max Guilkey; and sisters, Phyllis Mendenhall and Ruth Stoops.
Services will be held at noon on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville, with Pastor Rick Schoeff officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
