Partial closure of 96th Street to begin this week in Carmel

Graphic provided by City of Carmel

96th Street between Westfield Boulevard and Maple Drive is scheduled to be closed to thru traffic from June 21 through July 19 for improvements associated with The Edge apartment construction projects. The primary detour route will be 106th Street and Keystone Parkway.

For a portion of this closure period, local access to Lincoln Boulevard and Maple Drive from 96th Street will be completely restricted while the intersection is reconstructed. Access for properties on Maple Drive and Lincoln Boulevard will be from the north via 99th Street to Maple Drive through the Inglenook subdivision.

    It’s like a sideshow.
    “OH don’t worry honey.
    They put these fences up
    Like this all the time!

The sounds of silence…. “Where do we go now ?

The information is not correct. The 99th street access to Maple Drive is via the Inglenook subdivision entrance, not The Seasons apartment complex.

Thanks for this information. Other sites and maps don’t show this closure.
