Partake in art of illustration, caricature next month at Art Gallery at Fishers City Hall

The Fishers Arts Council is celebrating the Art of Illustration & Caricature during the month of September at The Art Gallery at City Hall, featuring 14 artists.

The exhibit opens on Sept. 2 and runs through Sept. 29 with a free public reception with live music by Jazz musician Steve Newby from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 18 at The Art Gallery at Fishers City Hall with more than 70 pieces on display.

Featured artists are Robert Boyle, Nichole Cochran, Rebecca Entrican, John Essex II, Sandra Hall, Jacque Hammonds, Duane King, Gabriel Lehman, Shaunt’e Lewis, Nick Mangos, Charles McNally, Sue Payne, Leigh Marino Petersen and Betty Shaefer.

The gallery is free and open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturdays during Summer Farmers Market hours.
