November 16, 1955 – September 1, 2021
Pamela L. Sharp, 65, formerly of Cicero, and Anchorage, Alaska, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at IU Health West Hospital in Avon due to an extended illness. She was born on November 16, 1955 to the late James and T. Marie (Fleenor) Sharp in Noblesville.
Pamela graduated from Noblesville High School and the University of Alaska. She and a friend started their own company doing cadastral surveying on remote parcels of land. Later, Pamela worked for Aeromap where she flew over areas to be surveyed and mapped using aerial photography and LIDAR technology. Pamela loved cooking and baking. She enjoyed geology and was an amateur “rock hound.” Pamela enjoyed winter, was an avid cross-country skier and loved fishing. She often sailed with friends who had a sailboat. In the long winter months, Pamela liked beadwork and made necklaces and bracelets and painted and decorated tennis shoes which she gave to friends. She was an avid reader who loved watching Jeopardy!, and was quite good at it! Pamela also loved music and knew so much music trivia.
She is survived by her sisters, Penny (Mike) Metsker and Patti Whitehead; nephew, Adam M. (Candace) Metsker; niece, Hannah D. Whitehead; great-nephew, Weston Reul; many cousins; and her special friend, Michael Vesey.
Services will be held at a later date. Pamela’s family has entrusted her care to Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes of Noblesville.
