The Silvernotes, a Hamilton County Indiana Extension Homemakers Association SSAA chorus, hosted an area rehearsal on Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Fairgrounds. Over 80 women from nine counties attended. Although each IEHA county chorus is its own entity and performs under its own name, they all feed into the state chorus of more than 300 women, known as the Melody Makers of Indiana. Area rehearsals are held in different areas of the state which prepare for Melody Makers’ performances in the summer. The 28-member Silvernotes are now accepting inquiries to perform at holiday functions across Hamilton County. Contact the Hamilton County 4-H Extension Office at (317) 776-0854 for more information.
