The Town of Cicero has a volunteer position open on the Storm Water Management Board.
The Board serves to assess and address storm water needs, including: keeping storm water out of our sanitary sewer, addressing storm water flooding areas, public education on how the public can assist with keeping our storm water clean and working with Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation, Indiana Department of Environmental Management and the Upper White River Water Watershed.
The Board meets quarterly and as needed on other occasions. If you are interested in environmental issues and keeping our water clean, this may be a place you can serve your town and your community.
For more information on the Board, you can visit: ciceroin.org/departments/storm-water-program or you may contact Town Council President, Chad Amos at camos.council@comcast.net, Streets and Utilities Superintendent Pat Comer at pcomer@townofcicero.in.gov or you may call the Clerk Treasurer’s office at 317-984-4900 and ask for Jan Unger.
