OneZone will honor outstanding local businesses and individuals at its third annual Business Excellence Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, Dec. 13 at Ritz Charles. Applications for all awards are available online at onezonecommerce.com and must be submitted by the Oct. 16 deadline.
Award and nomination criteria include:
- Applause Business of the Year award recognizes small and large companies that have demonstrated outstanding business success in growth and stability, commitment to quality, creative/unique solutions to challenges, entrepreneurial spirit and overall contribution to the community.
- Young Professional of the Year award recognizes a OneZone member between the ages of 21 and 40 who has demonstrated leadership, mentorship, community involvement or entrepreneurship.
- Look awards are presented for new construction and renovation projects in Carmel and Fishers. Nominees are judged on the quality of work, appropriateness of the construction to its surroundings and the contribution of the project to the overall look of the community.
- Green award recognizes an organization, company or association that is solving environmental challenges using innovative and green practices or by setting up creative partnerships to enhance the environment.
- Most Valuable Volunteer MV2 award is presented to a OneZone member who is employed full time and makes a difference in the community through active volunteerism.
Awards are also presented for Lifetime Achievement in business in both Carmel and in Fishers.
The 2016 Business Excellence Awards were presented to CloudOne (now ClearObject), Applause Business of the Year over $10 Million; pi lab, Applause Business of the Year under $10 million; Jay Bangert – Hagerman, Young Professional of the Year; Children’s Learning Adventure, Look New Construction Carmel; Four Day Ray Brewing, Look New Construction Fishers; Lakeside Green Business Center, Look Renovation Carmel; Balmoral House, Look Renovation Fishers; NextGear Capital, Green; Jon Olson – BrightStar, Most Valuable Volunteer MV2; Bruce Breeden, Lifetime Achievement Carmel; and George Kehl, Lifetime Achievement Fishers.
