O’Connor has already gained the support and endorsements from many local elected officials and organizations including Mayor John Ditslear, the Noblesville City Council and the Noblesville Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 4416.

“When I think about serving the people of District 29 at the Statehouse, there are a number of policy areas that excite me and where I believe I can contribute, but there are three areas in particular that I believe are crucial to focus on: education, workforce development and infrastructure,” said O’Connor.

As a 30-year resident of Noblesville and two-term Noblesville City Council President, Chair of the Finance Committee, an Economic Development Committee member and as a part of the Plan Commission, O’Connor has made a big impact in Noblesville over the years.

In the last decade, O’Connor has demonstrated his commitment and dedication to economic and workforce development, streamlining budgeting processes, implementing quality of life initiatives and providing more educational opportunities for the city.

“As a City Councilman, I’ve been a part of working with employers in our community to help bring 1,618 new and promised jobs to Noblesville. I am prepared to work with the Department of Workforce Development in their implementation of Innovation Networks across the state and in Hamilton County. Our success here will have a major impact on our ability to grow our tax base and quality of living,” said O’Connor.

O’Connor and his wife, Teena, have lived in Noblesville for three decades. Their two children, Kerry and Evan, are proud alumni of Noblesville Schools. O’Connor is employed by BMO Harris Bank, N.A. as a Senior Vice President and Director. He also serves Noblesville as a Riverview Health Foundation board member, Noblesville Chamber of Commerce Business Advisory member, Noblesville Schools Miller Ambassador, Noblesville Schools Education Foundation life member and a Community Health Network Foundation Advisory Board member.
