Oath Keepers, Cicero American Legion donate equipment to Sheriff’s Office

Hamilton County Oath Keepers (HCOK) in partnership with the American Legion Post 341 in Cicero actively supports the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) by donating items for use by sheriff’s deputies. The items include medical and life-saving gear sheriff’s deputies can carry on their persons, training aids for K-9 units and tactical gear. The items will be presented on Tuesday, May 2nd at 4pm at the HCSO. Sheriff’s deputies serving in the HCSO perform a vital function in preserving and protecting life, liberty and property by faithfully honoring their oaths to support and defend the Constitution of the United States and by maintaining the rule of law through enforcing Indiana laws. The HCSO deserves the full support of citizens and civic groups residing in Hamilton County.

About Hamilton County Oath Keepers

Oath Keepers is a volunteer organization whose members include military, veterans, law enforcement officers, EMS, fire fighters and interested citizens. The mission of HCOK is to protect and defend the United States Constitution by upholding their Oaths, as they pledged.  As Oath Keepers, they support the rule of law, the supremacy of the US Constitution and the Rights codified therein for all Americans, they assist their communities in establishing security and learning preparedness, and support local law enforcement officers and military in the Constitutional execution of their duties. HCOK has meetings open to the public the 4th Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Cicero American Legion.

About American Legion Post 341 Cicero, IN

The Cicero American Legion is located at 50 Washington Ave., Cicero, IN. The Post began operation in 1921 and services the town of Cicero with many patriotic, educational and civic events. Most recently is the construction of a 36’ memorial wall to honor the 5 branches of the military. The memorial wall will be built near the entrance of Red Bridge Park in Cicero at the West end of the Veteran Memorial Walkway over Morse Reservoir and will be commissioned on Memorial Day.
