Guerin Catholic saw its six-game win streak come to an end Saturday at North Central, as the Panthers got off to a fast start and eventually won 69-58.
North Central led 20-6 after the first quarter, then went up 29-9 in the second period. The Golden Eagles were able to come back in that quarter, but still trailed 34-22 at halftime. Guerin Catholic got within 48-40 by the end of the third period, but the Panthers finished the game with a 21-point fourth quarter.
Joseph Bobilya hit five 3-pointers on his way to 23 points. Kaleb Edwards scored 17 points, including three 3s, handed out five assists and pulled four rebounds. Will Grissom led the rebounds with five.
The Golden Eagles are 13-3 and host Shortridge on Tuesday.
