Norman Ambrose Good

March 1, 1933 – November 29, 2018

Norman Ambrose Good, 85, Fishers, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was born on March 1, 1933 to Frank and Barbara (Raderstorf) Good in Star City, Ind.

Norman proudly served in the United States Army. He was a member of St. Louis de Montfort Church. Norman owned Deke’s Barber Shop at 62nd and Allisonville Road for over 30 years. He enjoyed spending time at the Hamilton County Senior Center playing cards, especially euchre and pinochle. Norman liked to garden and browse garage sales.

He is survived by his daughters, Diane (Jeff) Laker, Audrey (Bob) DeJohn and Susan (Roger) Becker; son, Mark (Rebecca) Good; grandchildren, Courtney Laker, Stacie Skinner and family, Ross and Cole DeJohn, Austin Becker, and Josie and Annabelle Good.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Vincent Good and Vernal Good; and twin sister, Norma Good Newman.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday December 4, 2018 at St. Louis de Montfort Church, 11441 Hague Road, Fishers. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to the time of service at the church. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis. There will be a light lunch served after the burial for anyone that would like to attend.
