Norma Jeanne Clark

June 6, 1930 – July 16, 2018

Norma Jeanne Clark, 88, Fishers, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. She was born on June 6, 1930 in Greenfield.

Jeanne was involved in many organizations supporting the Fishers Community and Fishers Fire Department. She was one of the founding members that created an EMT service for Fishers Volunteer Fire Department, and was also an EMT at Riverview Hospital. Jeanne was treasurer for HSE School Corporation, and after retirement became an HSE School Board member as secretary and president during her eight-year tenure. She was active in HSE Booster Club, American Red Cross, and Sertoma Club. Jeanne also worked as a volunteer for the Fishers Freedom Festival for many years. She was a scout leader when her sons were in Boy Scouts and when her daughter was in Girl Scouts. When her sons, grandsons and great-granddaughter were involved in truck and tractor pulling, along came “Grandma” with her camper and food.

Jeanne is survived by her children, Cherie (Dale) Bryant, Stan (Betty) Clark and James Richard Clark; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Robert W. “Dub” Clark; mother, Olga Marie Bennett; step-father, Richard Eckhardt; and one grandson, Robert Mitchell Clark.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers, with visitation from 10 a.m. to the time of service. Rev. Larry J. Renihan will officiate. Burial will follow at Lowery Cemetery (Fall Creek Township) in Fishers.
