Noblesville Schools announced last week that Board of Trustees president Dr. Joe Forgey has received a Distinguished Exemplary Governance Award from the Indiana School Boards Association (ISBA). Board member Lisa Sobek was also honored with a Commendable Exemplary Governance Award.
The Exemplary Governance recognition of excellence honors school board members who have demonstrated an outstanding dedication to public service, and the highest levels of commitment to continuous improvement and professional learning.
ISBA will present Forgey and Sobek with their awards at a regional meeting later this spring.
