Noblesville made a second-half rally at Brownsburg on Friday, coming back before the Bulldogs held on to win a 46-37 Hoosier Crossroads Conference game
The Millers trailed 27-10 at halftime. Noblesville outscored the Bulldogs 27-19 in the second half. Jaron Youree, Eagan Keever-Hill and Xavier Hines all scored eight points for the Millers.
Ryan Barnes scored seven points and collected six rebounds, with Hines pulling five rebounds.
“We played with much more intensity in the second half,” said Noblesville coach Brian McCauley. “We rebounded and defended much better and cut and screened better. We simply dug ourselves too big of a deficit in the first half. I was really pleased with our defensive intensity in the fourth quarter and our offensive execution. Brendan Fisher came off the bench and gave us a huge spark offensively. Eagan Keever-Hill sparked us in the third quarter and Ryan Barnes was solid with seven points and six rebounds.”
The Millers are now 2-2 in HCC play and 8-10 overall. Noblesville returns home to The Mill tonight to host Arsenal Tech.
