Noblesville is on quite a roll lately and were able to add another pair of wins last Saturday as they knocked off the host Huntington North Vikings for the Huntington North Classic championship, 58-42.
For the second weekend in a row, Noblesville was able to post two wins, claiming its second consecutive holiday tournament title.
In the first game, Huntington North took down the Whitko Wildcats, 52-41. Whitko was able to win the third-place game over Fort Wayne Northrop, 69-64.

The Millers won the second game of the day against Northrop, 51-41, but it wasn’t easy. The Bruins jumped out to a 15-11 lead after one quarter.
Noblesville was able to hold Northrop down 12-7 in the second to have a slight 23-22 halftime edge.
The third was much of the same with the Millers in control 17-9 for a 40-31 lead heading to the fourth.
With pretty much an even fourth (11-10), Noblesville was able to keep the Bruins away for the 10-point win.
Meredith Tippner led the way with 27 points, 14 rebounds and five assists. Kate Rollins had 12 points and four steals, along with C.C. Quigley nine and five boards.

The Millers took off right from where they left off with Northrop, putting together a consistent championship game to beat the host Vikings, 58-42.
Noblesville jumped out to a 19-9 lead after one quarter and kept going.
Huntington North woke up a little in the second for a 14-13 edge in the frame, but the Millers were up nine at halftime, 32-23.
The Millers used a 26-19 second half to push away from the Vikings for the 16-point victory for the Huntington North Classic crown.
Tippner nearly had a quadruple-double, finishing the title game with 24 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and eight steals. Rollins had a career-high 19 points on 5-for-11 shooting and 7-of-9 at the free throw line. Quigley scored 10 points and grabbed four rebounds.
The trio of Tippner, Rollins and Quigley paced Noblesville to the two wins. Tippner scored 51 points, grabbed 25 rebounds, along with 13 assists and 10 steals on the day. Kate Rollins totaled 31 points and seven steals in the two contests. Quigley tallied 19 points and nine boards.
No. 11 Noblesville (12-3) won its eighth game in a row and hosts Cathedral (9-6) on Wednesday, followed by Lawrence North (10-4) on Saturday afternoon.
