Noblesville students’ cooking creations on Bru Burger menu

Thanks to Noblesville High School’s Innovations class, three local students are on the menu at Bru Burger Noblesville! Junior Kate Goins (right), sophomore Madilyn Colunga (center), and freshman Kaydence Westbrook (left) partnered with Bru Burger executive chef John Sanderock to create a featured appetizer and entree for the restaurant’s December menu.

Millers’ buffalo dip and a hot honey chicken sandwich will be available until the end of the month with the restaurant donating a dollar for each item sold back to Noblesville High School. The students were challenged to research the menu and available ingredients, pitch ideas to Bru Burger, develop the recipe, recommend pricing, and market test their proposals.

The partnership developed through the high school’s Innovations class, where students pursue real-world learning through career development projects of their choosing.
