Noblesville Schools offers internet access during extended eLearning

Noblesville Schools is providing free, 24-hour, high-speed wireless access to Noblesville Schools students, faculty and staff who may not have internet connectivity due to COVID-19-related school, library and business closures.

Parking Lot Hotspots

Noblesville Schools has set up “lot hotspots” so users can maintain social distancing while accessing the internet from their cars.

Wireless internet is now operational in the parking lot at all Noblesville Schools with the exception of Hazel Dell (due to ongoing construction). The service provides the full range of internet usage from an individual’s district-issued device, allowing people to view websites, download materials, and login to instructional or conferencing programs.

Please click on this link for a map showing where access is available at each school.

For health and safety as well as to provide the service to all who need it, Noblesville Schools asks that people using the Wi-Fi lot hotspots do the following:

  • Stay inside cars and remain on site only as long as necessary.
  • Turn off vehicle engines to save gas and reduce emissions.
  • Never leave children unattended in the vehicles.

Every Miller Connected: Wireless Hotspots

Noblesville Schools is now offering a limited number of free wireless hotspot devices to families who have limited or no internet access at home.

Every Miller Connected is a program sponsored by Noblesville Schools. It gives students with the greatest need the opportunity to borrow a free “hotspot” for use during the school year.

Mobile hotspots allow free access to the internet. Multiple students can sign on to a single hotspot, so students within a family are asked to coordinate use. Both the device and monthly service fees are fully paid by the district. The program is intended to help district students access online resources at home to ensure educational equity.

To ensure peace of mind for parents, these devices use internet content filtering and browsing history is recorded. Only one device may be borrowed per household.
