Noblesville Schools, Noblesville Parks partner for Back to School BASH

Organizations interested in exhibiting should apply now . . .

Noblesville Schools and the Noblesville Parks Department announced Monday that they will be jointly hosting the 2018 Back to School BASH from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 27 at Federal Hill Commons.

The event features food, games, athletics, arts, music and community youth organizations and typically draws approximately 5,000 attendees.

“This event is a celebration for Noblesville Schools students returning to school after summer break, but it also highlights the special connection between the district and the Noblesville community,” said Marnie Cooke, director of marketing and communications for Noblesville Schools. “We invite community organizations to apply to exhibit at the event and also invite all community members to join in the fun and learn more about Noblesville Schools.”

“We’re pleased to partner with Noblesville Schools on this celebration and believe that it will become another exciting offering at Federal Hill Commons,” added Mike Hoffmeister, assistant director for Noblesville Parks. “The BASH also will be followed that evening by a Shakespeare in the Park performance at Federal Hill, so we encourage families to stay for a great theater production and for Shakespeare fans to come early and take part in BASH activities.”

Community organizations interested in exhibiting at the Back to School BASH can apply here no later than June 25. Organizations interested in serving as a sponsor for the event can contact Marnie Cooke at marnie_cooke@nobl.k12.in.us.

This is the fifth year for the Back to School BASH. In past years the event was co-hosted through Noblesville Main Street and held on the downtown square.
