The school board has responsibility for major district functions including school district governance and oversight, setting school policies, approving funding, strategic planning, and hiring and evaluating the superintendent.
- Stony Creek Elementary presented a board spotlight on their writing goals.
- The board approved an updated a memorandum of understanding between Noblesville Schools and the Noblesville Police Department. The agreement lays out the roles, responsibilities, details, and goals regarding the school resource officer program.
- The Department of Learning shared school improvement plans, as required by the state. The plans are based on the analysis of academic data from each school and set goals to continue to enhance academic excellence. Board member Laura Alerding abstained from voting on the plans.
- A new office/storage building that will be constructed by Noblesville Youth Baseball on the district’s property at Hazel Dell Elementary was approved by the board.
