The school board has responsibility for major district functions including school district governance and oversight, setting school policies, approving funding, strategic planning, and hiring and evaluating the superintendent.
- Nursing staff, NPD resource officers, and a community member were recognized by the board for life-saving action and support they provided recently when a visitor at an NHS event experienced a traumatic medical emergency.
- Music students representing orchestra, percussion, and color guard were honored for state and national achievements.
- White River Elementary staff and students presented on their art, music, technology, and physical education programming.
- Assistant Superintendent of Learning Dr. Ryan Rich presented on Academic Excellence as part of a new series of monthly reports on the Noblesville Schools Strategic Plan.
- A second hearing was held for a $19.7 million bond that will fund several facility projects throughout the district including paving, painting, roofing, flooring, technology, bus replacements, furniture, and the completion of air handling units at NHS. The bond will not increase the tax rate.
- A contract for NHS air handling units was approved, as was an agreement between the district and Noblesville Youth Baseball.
- Updated/new school calendars were approved for 2025-2026, 2026-2027, and 2027-2028.
- The Noblesville Schools Board of Trustees recently developed and signed a shared commitments document to establish clear expectations and respectful collaboration among board members.
