Noblesville took a trip to Harrison on Tuesday and came home with a big win and a new record.
The Millers overwhelmed the Raiders 90-53. It was the first time that Noblesville had topped the 90-point mark since Dec. 22, 2015, when the Millers put up 95 points against Beech Grove.
Noblesville took care of this game early, leading Harrison 28-8 after the first quarter and 55-22 at halftime. The Millers kept rolling in the third period, pouring in another 24 points for a 79-33 lead by the end of the quarter.
Ashlynn Shade threw in a career-high 43 points, making 16 of 19 field goals, including all three 3-point attempts. Shade set a new Noblesville single-game scoring record, breaking the old record of Cindi Merrill, and reached double-double status with 10 rebounds.
Mallory Miller added 14 points, also draining three 3s, and made six steals. Reagan Wilson and Jayla Jones both scored nine points. Dani Mendez and Brooklyn Smitherman both collected five rebounds, Wilson dished out five assists, and Shade and Kaitlyn Shoemaker both handed out four assists.
