Saturday, Feb. 17 marked Prevail’s 18th Annual City vs. County Bowl-A-Thon Challenge at Bowl 32 / Three-Two-Fun in Noblesville. Prevail is a not-for-profit victim’s advocacy center based in Hamilton County that assists men, women, teens and children who have been victims of a violent crime or abuse. The Bowl-A-Thon is one of Prevail’s largest fundraising efforts, and it raised more than $25,000 in 2018. The event is a fun competition between the employees of Hamilton County and the City of Noblesville – each has 16 teams of five bowlers. Each year the bowlers compete for prizes, top scores, bragging rights and trophies. This year, the City of Noblesville knocked down 36,575 pins in three games and Hamilton County teams scored 34,582 pins. The Odd Balls, led by Charlie Jones, had the highest pin total of 3,062 for the city. The Rowdy Rollers knocked down the most pins for the county with 2,688 pins.
