The Noblesville Police Department (NPD) is accepting pre-applications for the 2022 Applicant Screen Process.
Citizens can apply for the selection process at cityofnoblesville.org/employment. The deadline to apply is Sept. 16. The process is scheduled to take approximately three to five months to complete and will include the following components:
- Pre-Application Screening Process
- Physical Fitness Screening
- Written Examination
- Oral Interview and Writing Exercise
- Complete Personal History Statement
- Polygraph Examination
- Background Examination
- Psychological Examination
- Complete Physical Examination/Drug Test
- Approval of Police Merit Commission
Basic minimum requirements include:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have a successfully received a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have not reached 40 years of age by date of hire
- Must possess a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle
- No felony of domestic violence convictions
- No Operating While Intoxicated (OWI) convictions
- No dishonorable discharge from the military service
The Noblesville Police Department offers an excellent benefit package with includes the following:
- Competitive salary starting at $61,984 after a one-year probationary period and a salary of $71,281.60 after completion of the fourth year
