Noblesville police arrest two on drug charges

At approximately 4:46 p.m. on April 30, Noblesville police officers responded to the area of 17177 Mercantile Blvd. on a report of an illegal drug transaction.

Based on information provided by the caller, it was reported that the alleged transaction took place in the Meijer parking lot and involved a silver/green 2003 Honda Element. Noblesville police officers arrived on the scene shortly after the dispatched call and located the vehicle in question along with two adult occupants.

Based on initial observation and conversation with the occupants, officers placed a male and female in custody without incident. Members of the Noblesville Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing (POP) unit were called to assist with the investigation. Officers conducted a subsequent search of a residence located at 15944 Tenor Way, Noblesville, where additional alleged drug-related items were located and seized.

Based on the information collected as a result of this investigation, preliminary charges have been filed. The male and female subjects in the case were booked at the Hamilton County Jail on the following preliminary charges:

Levi R. Brown, 19, Noblesville, was charged with Dealing in Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Schedule Controlled Substances & Marijuana, Level 3-6 Felonies; Possession of Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Controlled Substances, Marijuana, Syringe, & Paraphernalia, Level 3-6 Felonies, Class B/C Misdemeanor; and Possession of a Handgun w/o License, I.C. 35-47-2-1 Class A Misdemeanor.

Hailey E. Booker, 19, Noblesville, was charged with Dealing in Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Controlled Substances & Marijuana Level 3-6 Felonies; and Possession of Marijuana & Paraphernalia, Class B/C Misdemeanor.

A charge is merely an accusation and the defendant(s) is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
