The Noblesville Parks and Recreation Department recently spent a morning at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds volunteering for a local non-profit and giving back to the community.
In addition to learning more about Good Samaritan Network, parks staff helped sort through clothes, shoes, toys and other items that were donated to the charity.
Plans for the community day began at a department meeting where the staff voted on the type of service they would like to be part of. From there plans took off and a connection with Good Samaritan Network was formed.
