Wednesday morning, Noble Coffee and Tea transformed into the host site for the first Downtown Business Summit, accommodating more than 60 guests and providing a venue for an exchange of information.
The summit was presented in partnership between the Economic Development team from the City of Noblesville, the Chamber of Commerce and the Economic Development Committee from Noblesville Main Street.
Attendees heard presentations on current and future
initiatives from Alaina Shonkwiler, Assistant Director of Economic Development for the City of Noblesville, from Bob Dubois, President of the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce and from Chris Owens, CEO of Main Street.
In reflecting on the success of the summit, DuBois shared, “The positive energy in the room was fueled by solid reports on the more than a dozen initiatives underway to strengthen and enhance downtown Noblesville. The Chamber is excited to support and engage with Main Street and the City on these important efforts. Under this collaborative
leadership, downtown Noblesville’s future is bright.”
The group’s intent is for this to be the first of an annual or bi-annual gathering where valuable resources and information can be shared to strengthen the downtown
experience.
Additionally, Noblesville Main Street announced their recent accreditation through Indiana Main Street, the Office of Community and Rural Affairs and National Main Street. This marks the third consecutive year for this honor and ranks Noblesville Main Street as one of the elite organizations in the state.
