In a dedicated shift by its officers and Board of Directors, Noblesville Main Street is transitioning from a membership-based model to a business model designed to empower the greater community to help fund more than 60 events provided by the organization on a yearly basis.
“Main Street is a non-profit organization funded primarily by the generosity of donors and sponsors who support our mission, which is to promote downtown Noblesville in every way possible,” said Craig Crosser, board president. “We hope by asking for the community to partner with us and give to the Annual Fund, we are able to better inform the public of our non-profit status and hopefully increase giving that is so badly needed to sustain and broaden the many events we offer.”
Incremental donation levels have been raised by the board for the first time in four years and will help off-set the cost of many events, while most of the events themselves will remain free for the public to attend.
“I see the Annual Fund as another way in which our organization continues to more clearly define who we are, what we do to support this community and our commitment to downtown Noblesville as the heart of this great city,” added CEO Chris Owens.
The 2018 Annual Fund renewals will be mailed in December. If you don’t want to wait for the mailing, you can make your 2018 Annual Fund donation today by going online at noblesvillemainstreet.org. Your support is indeed important to Noblesville Main Street.
