On June 24, the Noblesville Lions Club had its first gathering and meeting since the COVID lockdowns. Club members and their wives met at Teter Retreat in Noblesville. Masks and social distancing were observed. The Lions also welcomed District Governor Dan Wilcox and his wife Tammy as guests.

The next two July meetings will be held at Forest Park in Shelter No. 2.

During this down time, the club has had to cancel a couple fundraisers. One was the Pork Chop Dinner event, and the Breakfast event normally the following morning on Noblesville’s Downtown Square. The club had to also cancel the Father’s Day event at Forest Park.

At the meeting, installation of officers for the 2020-21 year was held. The new President installed is the first Lady Lion for the Noblesville Club – Julia Kozicki. The club is excited to have Kozicki as President, as she is very active in Lion activities.
