Noblesville girls fall to Mount Vernon

Noblesville dropped an away game at Mount Vernon 42-34 on Tuesday.
The Marauders got off to a fast start, leading 15-5 after the first quarter and 23-14 at halftime. The Millers made a rally in the fourth quarter, but Mount Vernon hung on for the win.
Maddie Knight and Mallory Johnson both scored 11 points for Noblesville. Knight and Abby Haley both pulled five rebounds, with Haley also handing out five assists.
The Millers are 6-12 and will finish out their regular season at The Mill, playing four consecutive home games. Noblesville hosts Zionsville Friday as part of a Hoosier Crossroads Conference girl-boy doubleheader.
