Noblesville FOP to hold 5K to benefit West Middle School

The Noblesville Fraternal Order of Police and the Noblesville Police Auxiliary have announced a charity 5K Fun Run which will take place on Saturday, June 23 at Forest Park in Noblesville. The organizations will donate all net proceeds from the event to the Noblesville West Middle School PTO to support all of the students affected by the events that unfolded on May 25.

Participants will run and walk along a 5K course on scenic Forest Park trails, featuring appearances by Noblesville’s first responders and K9 officers. The course will begin outside of Shelter 1 of Forest Park and travel through the trails encompassing the park. The race will finish inside Forest Park and include family friendly activities including several inflatables from KidZone to celebrate the #NoblesvilleStrong community.

The 5K, an officially timed event, will begin at 8:30 a.m. Along with the 5K, participants and families will have the opportunity to “Race a K9” in a 100-yard dash where they will strive to beat NPD’s fastest four-legged officers, as well as race an officer in full uniform – that’s 30 pounds of gear.

All finishers will receive a commemorative Run with the Cops medal and T-shirt. Sign up by Friday, June 9 and receive a discounted price of $29 (adult) for the 5K. Space is limited so participants are encouraged to sign up early. Registration and event information is available at korgeo.com/signup?eid=41.

“The Noblesville FOP Lodge 198 is proud to unite our community members in support of the brave students at Noblesville West Middle School.
