Noblesville firefighters recognized at awards banquet

Last Saturday, members of the Noblesville Fire Department, Mayor Chris Jenson, Deputy Mayor Matt Light, members of the City Council, Noblesville Fire Chief Matt Mitchell, and other esteemed guests gathered for the 13th annual Noblesville Fire Fighters Awards and Recognition Banquet.

This event was a testament to the dedication and bravery of Noblesville’s firefighters, who were recognized for their exceptional service to the community and outstanding performance while on the job.

The success of the event was made possible through the invaluable contributions from the events title sponsor Ascension St. Vincent.

The following were recognized for their acts:

  • Excellence in Training: Eric Harris
  • EMS Provider of the Year: EMS Duty Officer Josh Gates
  • Fire Fighter of the Year: FF/EMT Matt Pinter
  • Officer of the Year: Captain Rick Russell
  • The Chief Kenneth L. Gilliam Leadership Award: Executive Officer Joe Wilson
  • Meritorious Service: Lieutenant Matt Miller, Lieutenant John Huseman, Engineer Tony Murray, FF/PM Erik Scheub, FF/EMT Dave Burkhalter.
