Noblesville Diversity Coalition receives $14,000 grant from Crosser Family Foundation to support Community Conversations event

Submitted by NDC

The Noblesville Diversity Coalition (NDC) recently announce that it has been awarded a $14,000 grant from the Crosser Family Foundation. This generous funding will support NDC’s ongoing Community Conversations series, a key initiative aimed at fostering inclusivity and understanding within the Noblesville community.

The Community Conversations series is a collaborative effort to encourage more conversations in people’s personal and community lives. Community Conversations offers a simple, friendly, and structured way to engage in meaningful discussions on various topics of interest. When people from different backgrounds and cultures come together, they bring unique perspectives, experiences, and ideas that promote mutual understanding, empathy, and a more inclusive and welcoming Noblesville.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Crosser Family Foundation for their support,” NDC President Dana Randall said. “This grant will allow us to enhance our programming and reach more individuals who are eager to contribute to and benefit from a vibrant, strong, and safe community.”

NDC’s Community Conversations series has already made significant strides in promoting dialogue and understanding. Over 400 residents have participated in these events in the past two years, with many attending multiple sessions. The series has also trained 30 facilitators to guide these conversations, ensuring they are productive and impactful.

The next event, Community Conversation – Interfaith, will take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at Noblesville First United Methodist Church, 2051 Monument St. Come, join and share experiences, learn from one another, and foster understanding and harmony among different faith traditions.
