Noblesville Creates’ HATCH Fest, presented by Duke Energy, offers fun activities & demonstrations for all ages

The Noblesville Creates HATCH Fest, presented by Duke Energy, will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 15 on the Noblesville Courthouse Square.

HATCH – which stands for Hamilton County Arts, Technology, Craft, and Heritage – Fest will feature arts and crafts vendors, interactive activities for all ages, demonstrations, live music, a Juneteenth Celebration, and the time-honored St. Michael’s Strawberry Festival. With a record number of artists and makers this year, HATCH Fest promises to be an engaging and memorable experience for everyone.

Attendees can look forward to multiple themed alleys throughout the event featuring captivating demonstrations and performances. In the Craft Alley, Musicologie will be hosting a booth where you can learn more about the world of music as you make a small musical instrument.

The Technology Alley will host an exciting robotics demonstration by the Noblesville Robotics Club and an engaging technology craft by Ignite Studios.

Heritage Alley will be the site of a special Juneteenth Celebration including Noblesville Diversity Coalition, music by Ivan the Gem, readings of the Emancipation Proclamation by Edan Evans de Roziere, and a speech about emancipation delivered by Revered Strong from Freetown Village.

Additionally, Gal’s Guide Library will present a Dream Tent, an interactive exhibit spotlighting 100 remarkable women from 1815 to today.

Attendees can also look forward to demonstrations provided by HATCH Fest vendors like natural dyeing with Color Me Happy Fiber Arts, postcard creating with Greetings From, pottery making with D & L Pottery, needle felting with Baird Crafted, and more.
