Noblesville Common Council Dave Johnson receives Noblesville FOP’s endorsement

Dave Johnson, a resident of Noblesville for 40 years, has been endorsed by the Noblesville Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge No. 198.

“Dave has always been a trusted voice for truth and justice while he served on the Noblesville Police Merit Commission,” FOP Lodge No. 198 President David Barnes said. “We are confident that he is the right person for the job.”

Johnson has been a pillar in the community for several decades by volunteering across various organizations in Noblesville and Hamilton County. In addition to his community work, his city involvement will be key in leading on the City Council. Johnson has been on the city’s Economic Development Board, the Police Merit Commission, Prevailing Wage Board, Hamilton County Riverwalk Board, and on the Hamilton County Solid Waste Board.

“Among my proudest moments of service to the City of Noblesville was during my tenure as President of the Police Merit Commission,” Johnson said. “I recognized and truly understood and appreciated the challenges of what is a very difficult job. I am honored to receive their endorsement.”

Johnson will be on the Republican ballot for the primary election on Tuesday, May 2.
