The Noblesville girls cross country team led the way with a dominant win at the Ben Davis Invitational on Saturday.
The Millers scored 35 points, well ahead of runner-up Fishers’ 131. Noblesville had three finishers in the top five: Isabella Sharples-Gordon took third, Madison King was fourth and Brooke Lahee finished fifth. Paige Hazelrigg took ninth place. Corinne Yorkman led the Tigers with a 10th-place finish.
University had both its girls and boys teams at Ben Davis. Noah Laramore placed 15th to lead the Trailblazers boys, while Charlotte Kumler paced the UHS girls by taking 73rd.

The Noblesville boys were also tournament winners on Saturday, leading the field at the IWU Wildcat Classic at Indiana Wesleyan University.
The Millers scored 54 points, comfortably ahead of second-place Harrison’s 93 and third-place Valparaiso’s 94. Travis Hickner and Cole Kimmel placed second and third respectively for Noblesville, with Andrew Anderson taking 10th.
Hamilton Southeastern’s boys finished fifth, with Eric Swinson placing fourth. Westfield sent a team to IWU and scored 265 points; Nik Pensyl led the Shamrocks with a 51st-place finish.
In the girls race, Southeastern was the team runner-up with 65 points, with West Lafayette the winner by scoring 56. The Royals had the individual race champion, as Halle Hill clocked in at 18:39.4 to take first place.

The Golden Eagles boys placed third in a competitive race; Bishop Dwenger won with 60 points, and Cathedral was the runner-up with 66 points. Guerin had two runners in the top 10: Austin Callahan took fourth and Holden King was sixth.
In the girls race, the Golden Eagles were fourth with 111 points. Bridget Gallagher finished seventh.
