Just after noon on Monday, the Noblesville Fire Department (NFD) responded to a residence fire at 14691 Dorset Lane.
The first crews to arrive reported smoke coming from a second story apartment. Firefighters were able to make an aggressive interior attack and quickly extinguish the fire. One person was transported to St. Vincent Hospital on 86th Street for treatment. Damage was limited to the apartment where the fire started.
The cause of the fire had not been released as of press time.
NFD was assisted by the Carmel Fire Department, the Westfield Fire Department, and the Noblesville Police Department.
