No need to leave Hamilton County for spring break

Hamilton County Tourism realizes a lot of local families will stay close to home this year for spring break, so the organization has put together a collection of ideas for things to do here in Hamilton County. It includes information for the area’s top family-friendly attractions like Conner Prairie, Strawtown Koteewi Park, and Topgolf.

Conner Prairie

Bring the kids for a day of learning and adventure at this outdoor living history museum in Fishers. Don’t miss the adorable baby goats and sheep in the Animal Encounters barn, plus the three-story treehouse at Treetop Outpost.

Strawtown Koteewi Park

Pronounced “koh-TAY-wee,” this is Hamilton County’s largest park at more than 800 acres and eight miles of trails. It’s home to three family-friendly attractions, too. Take a guided horseback trail ride or pony ride at K-Trails Equestrian Adventures, try your hand at the archery at Koteewi Range or tackle aerial treetop trails and ziplines at Edge Adventures: Koteewi Aerial Park.

Topgolf

You don’t need golfing experience to enjoy Indiana’s only Topgolf, located in Fishers. Challenge your friends and family to addictive point-scoring golf games.

Parks and Trails

Take a family bike ride along the Monon Trail, a paved pathway spanning over 20 miles in Hamilton County. Or, explore the more than 600 miles of trail systems within the county and visit popular parks like Flat Fork Creek Park.

Indoor Attractions

If the weather isn’t ideal, check out popular indoor attractions like The Escape Room, K1 Speed, Laser Flash and Pinheads to entertain the kids.
