Fitness Machine Technicians, specialists in the maintenance and repair of exercise equipment for commercial and residential customers, has opened its first location in Indiana. Mitch Hall of Carmel owns and manages the local office.
Fitness Machine Technicians operates in more than 85 markets across the country and offers service/repair and maintenance on a variety of exercise equipment in fitness centers, universities, high schools, hotels, apartment complexes, corporate gyms and private residences.
Hall is a native Hoosier who recently retired early from his partner role at a global public accounting firm in Dallas where he built and led a specialty practice of professionals to seek a unique entrepreneurial opportunity. He moved back to the Indianapolis area and found Fitness Machine Technicians – a perfect fit in leveraging his skills of growing a new business and serving an area he knows and loves.
A graduate of Indiana University, Hall said, “When I first began thinking about opening this business, I realized how common it is to experience broken fitness equipment, even in higher-end fitness centers. There is a great need for routine fitness equipment maintenance and servicing here. And the markets we serve are enhanced by Indianapolis’ significant convention business.”
Hall has hired a technician locally and plans to hire several more as the business grows. All technicians are trained at Fitness Machine Technicians’ headquarters in Philadelphia.
