Just after 7 a.m. Monday morning, the Noblesville Fire Department responded to an apartment fire at 137 Lions Creek Court. The first crew to arrive, Engine 78, was met with heavy smoke and flames. Firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control and limit the damage to the building. There were no injuries to civilians or firefighters. One police officer was checked out for smoke inhalation. Four apartments were affected. The cause is still under investigation.
