On Thursday, Fishers firefighters responded to 9032 Technology Drive at DeVeau’s School of Gymnastic for a business fire. A sprinkler was set off from the heat of the fire and contained the fire to a pit of foam until firefighters were able to extinguish the fire.

Early indications appear the fire began from work being done on equipment, but investigators are working to establish a cause. The pit had foam blocks which were on fire creating thick smoke throughout the building. Smoke and water damage will leave the facility closed until owners are able to make repairs and clean up.
No civilians or fire personnel sustained injuries. No dollar estimate is available on damage.
Thirty-eight firefighters were on scene, assisted by Carmel Fire Department, Fishers Police Department and Fishers Fire Corps.
