On Tuesday, Fishers firefighters were dispatched to an apartment fire at Sunblest Apartments, near Lantern and Regency drives. Fire department officials reported there were no injuries in the fire, and two pets were rescued by fire department personnel.
A total of eight units were damaged by water and/or fire before the blaze was put under control.
The local Red Cross, the Delaware Township Trustee’s Office and the Sunblest Apartments staff are working together to find housing for the impacted residents.
There is no word yet on what may have caused the fire.
