Shortly after 3 p.m. on Tuesday, the Noblesville Fire Department (NFD) responded to an apartment fire at Northlake Village Apartments.

The first units on scene encountered smoke coming from the eaves and vents. Units were able to search multiple apartments and located the fire on the second floor.
The residents were not home at the time of the fire. The fire was first noticed by a neighbor who saw smoke coming through a vent and called 9-1-1.
There were no injuries to civilians, firefighters or pets. The fire damage was limited to three apartments.
NFD was assisted by the Noblesville Police Department. NFD would like to take this opportunity to remind residents to ensure their smoke detectors are functioning properly.
