No injuries after shots fired into Fishers residence

At approximately 11:13 p.m. on Monday, multiple 911 calls were received reporting shots fired in a residential neighborhood.

Fishers police officers responded to the area and located a home and vehicle in a driveway that had been struck by bullets in the 10900 block of Veon Drive, which is southwest of 131st Street and Promise Road. Officers contacted the homeowners and determined no one inside the home was injured. Further investigation determined that a bullet had traveled into a nearby home, and no one in that home was injured.

Detectives and evidence technicians responded to assist with the investigation. It is believed the suspect(s) fled the area in a vehicle; no vehicle description was available as of press time. Police say there is no known ongoing threat to the public.
