No. 2 Greyhounds overwhelm No. 5 Jeffersonville

Carmel overwhelmed Jeffersonville 61-41 in a Saturday afternoon game that was part of the FORUM Tipoff Classic at Southport.
The Class 4A No. 2 Greyhounds were tied with the 4A No. 5 Red Devils 9-9 after the first quarter, but Carmel blitzed through the second period, outscoring Jeffersonville 24-9 to take a 33-18 halftime lead. The ‘Hounds further cemented the game with a 17-9 third quarter.
Karsten Windlan had an outstanding game, with 20 points and six rebounds. John Michael Mulloy added 19 points and led the boards with seven rebounds. Andrew Owens collected five rebounds and Robert Fry handed out four assists.
Carmel is now 5-0 for the season. The ‘Hounds travel to North Central on Friday.
