The Noblesville girls varsity lacrosse team traveled beat Park Tudor 18-6 in a Wednesday away game, bringing its record to 5-3-1 for the season.
The Millers were lead by sophomore Mia Blackburn with a total of six goals, four ground balls, three forced turnovers, and six draw controls. Defensively, Noblesville was led by junior Meredith Miller with four ground balls, one forced turnover and one interception. Senior goalkeeper Meredith Hayes stopped 50 percent of the shots the Panthers threw at the goal.
The Millers are in action on Saturday when they travel to Penn. The varsity will play Penn at 12:30 p.m. and Portage Northern High School (Mich.) at 3:30 p.m. The junior varsity, which is 1-1 for the season, will play Penn at 11 a.m. and Portage at 2 p.m. The Millers’ next home game will be Tuesday against Fishers.
